Visa installation and Microsoft Virtual Machine

I dont have dedicated hardware to play with Vista. I have coupld of Microsoft VMs. I wish to play with Vista Beta 2. Can I do any thing like below
- Install new Vista VM ? - Upgrade current Windows XP/2000/2003 VM to Vista
I have 4GB RAM for on my machine from whjich I can donate 2 GB RAM to Vista VM thats not an issue. Hard disk space is also not an issue.
Can somebody give me tips for the installation.
Thanks

Its worth a try, but as with any beta, there is always the likely possibility of failure. Try burning the ISO at a very low speed, 2x recommended. If setup fails, try extracting the contents of the ISO to a folder in the VM and run setup from there or try using Virtual Drive tools such as Daemon Tools or NERO Image drive. You can upgrade from Windows 2000 or 2003 only XP SP2 is supported for upgrades at this time to Vista x86. http://windowsconnected.com/blogs/andre/archive/2006/06/08/3002.aspx -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta
